The lessons quarantine life will bring to light are astounding! It's shocking how just having to stay put in one place is an epicentre for self reflection, really learning and appreciating who you are and understanding more about your relations with both living and non-living.
During a difficult time like this, for someone to send a mega food surprise like this over to me, where many are grappling for mere basics like corn meal, was extremely humbling, but it was more of a big show of how letting go and putting trust in the universe's system and the supreme power that rules over, amounts to nothing less of bountiful living.
But then what happens after the optical nutrition and photo taking part is done with? What do you do when this kind of food treat is usually meant to be for the communal feasting and now, it's just the two of you in the house, served this task, needing of mouth speed and terrabyte stomach capacity? Is it really a moment of celebration, if there are no people to eat and cheer along with you?
It's food like this that shines a light on how much each one, needs one, to bring meaning to life because the joy of sharing is medicine to the heart. With the lockdown don'ts, still so stringent, I still ask myself when I look over at the cake table, what to do?
