My perception is that if I am adding from one pile to another already existing but inadequate one, then I am supplementing the needy pile. To my surprise though, the word supplement has changed in the food world to mean a baseline need for everyday life. People are now replacing actual food with all sorts of tabs and powders. But how do I start popping pills only meant to aid, before I can actually try the food right before me? How can it be supplementation, if I am adding stuff to an empty pile of little or no food to begin with?
Will I be on them for life? What happens to the gut organs sitting idle because the pills bypass so many of them, will they just wear out from nothing doing? What a waste will happen to the array of naturally magical chemicals that each one food can provide at a go, compared to the few target chemicals in the pills?
What happens to the joy of tasting and savouring in food flavours?
For how long will you live the fast life before catch up can get to you?
