Double Christmas..

Giving, coming together, counting our blessings and dining are the reasons for Christmas every year. Everyone shares the little they have. Everyone works round the clock to save enough just to bring more cheer to their family and forget for a moment how tough life might have been. The helpless are not left behind as well, by the flood of good Samaritans that remembers they too, need to feel the light of the season. It's the ultimate display of love, when the fact that talk is cheap is taken quite seriously. It's action time everywhere!

But how about we double up on Christmas this year? Bring one Christmas forward to present day so we can all be there for one another, no matter our skin colour, share, no matter the quantity, care, no matter the avenue, spread love and lift the pain that Corona virus is bringing, as it sweeps the face of the Earth.

Wouldn't the force of solidarity, from each one, reaching one, whatever their capacity, feed into a huge fireball, light up and burn this darkness and shine on us back into a joyful world? We have done this before, 2020 years over, our experience is even most surely underrated, so let's all bring Christmas again to our neighbours. None has conquered the deep rooted fear of hunger before, so I suppose, food would be a good place to start.
