Whatever shall I do?

So, home cooked meals are a thing in my home. More affordable in the long run, the authentic taste is unbeaten, they have helped us hide a few years under our belts, they have brought my family members right out of sickness and kept them in wellness for most part of the great lives they have lived so far and they make me who I am, a natural food enthusiast. Of course, all this goodness doesn't come without its perks, I mean, after making the meal, there's all those dirty dishes that seem like another examination all together, then there's all the time making the meals eats into the other activities on your schedule but my biggest "irk-ation" (forgive my English) is what it does to the hands, the dry skin you are left behind with after all the constant washing of hands, washing of vegetables, washing practically everything. By now, another person is saying, buy yourself a hand cream, woman!!! I truly have enough of those in every fragrance, tube size and colour but for some reason, I always remember to use them only when I step out of the house and hence, they are always inside my handbags, never to leave there. Plus, the idea of cosmetics in the kitchen just didn't sound right. Whatever shall I do? So I decided to make my own home made mixture, one that would be placed somewhere with the rest of my kitchen equipment, somewhere right in front of me, as if screaming, "don't you ever forget me." I lifted my head to the spices and condiments cabinet to see what I had available and there they were!, 2 awesome ingredients:- rose water and mustard oil, bingo!!! For a pretty container to motivate me even more in my mission to undry those hands, I got a simple transparent salt shaker that was gifted to us over Christmas. I added 1 part mustard oil because it has such a strong smell for me to 3 parts rose water and boom!! My new hand moisturiser was born. No irritating smell, no itch, yes soft skin.

EQUALLY UNEQUAL

They call it fast food, I call it a saviour on that rare day, with a quick fix when there's nothing else to eat in the scary dark hour. ...
