The Irony

I hear the phrase, "you are what you eat," quite a bit. Infact I have used it more than a couple of times to start or perfectly finish a health talk. Once any speaker says it, the audience immediately relates and claps in awe.
In this social media era where every little thing is taken so seriously, a trivial like emoji on a facebook post is translated into something as huge as love and validity and equally so, no like emoji will be considered hate. I don't suppose that I have to hate you for me not to agree with or like some of your posts.

I have since asked myself whether metaphors will still stand in the English language in the near tomorrow.  Does "you are what you eat" really carry meaning? I mean, I eat cabbage countless times, am I now a cabbage?I eat pumpkin so much, am I now a pumpkin? Come on, now?!!

I am what the food I eat can do for my body for instance;- I have a flat tummy because the cabbage fibre I eat helps to detox my tummy but I am surely not a cabbage! Come on, now!

EQUALLY UNEQUAL

They call it fast food, I call it a saviour on that rare day, with a quick fix when there's nothing else to eat in the scary dark hour. ...
