The world had been trapped in a corner, silenced to fear and uncertainty about the future was burning us all. Normal life was now considered an abomination and we all had to adopt to a living, unthinkable.
We were meant to be boxed to our house's four walls, however the clostrophobics dealt, will remain a wonder! Physical expression of fondness and love with the always needed hugs were banned! Eating junk was considered a death sentence as ginger, lemon and garlic was now the acceptable world's main menu. Reunioning, family get togethering, dining and barbecuing with loved ones and friends was suddenly a choice for one that was trying to betray love and get their people sick probably to even death. Tough is an understatement for the global horror our generation had to witness and live through.
This left us all striving for mental stability and staying sane alone, behind closed doors was the goal. This is why the virtual world grew into a big giant overnight. Edutainment, entertainment, communication, sermons all channelled only through her. Blogs, Vlogs, memers, masterclasses, telecasts media content and social media platforms made their mark as the occupiers of our days.
There had to be a brain power behind formulating this content that was so consoling, unifying, calming, enlightening, inspiring, warming or uplifting.
That was the hand of the creatives at play and that's how we kept the world going to better days. Lighters up to every creative out there, your are a firework.
